We are living in an upside-down house high up in the mountains in Switzerland called a chalet. For nearly six months the chalet and mountains are covered in snow. In the summer it is nice and sunny.

We have been cycling, walking, eating, swimming, paddle boarding and visiting places. Near to our chalet there are many bisses. The video below explains what they are.
We went on a boat into the biggest underground lake in Europe and we saw large rainbow trout. They put rainbow trout in there as they clean the water so the villagers can drink it.

We went to some hot springs in a river the bottom of the valley. Next to the hot springs there was a freezing cold river. We all went in the river and then jumped into the hot springs and warmed up!

My mum and dad made us wake up at 4.30am to go on a nature walk at dawn because they had planned it with a guide. So we got dressed into our warm clothes and drove up to Thyon. We waited half an hour for the guide to turn up. In the end, we went on are own nature walk by ourselves at 5.43am and the guide arrived at 5.45am apparently, 2 minutes after we left!!! We saw a few dear, but nothing mor interesting on our walk. How annoying is that!!!

Barefoot walk…
We went on a barefoot walk where you take your shoes and socks off and walk through objects like: rocks, pinecones, wood chips and all kinds of stuff including mud!

Climbing up on trees
In Sion there is a place where you can do parkour and zip wires high up in the trees

Pump track
Just above our chalet there is a pump track where you can use a scooters, bikes and skateboards. The trick is to pump up and down with your knees. Eventually you go round the track without putting your foot down!
